Black Forest Ham and Brie Sandwich


Ingredients:

16 oz. Wellshire Black Forest Ham

8 oz. of sliced Brie Cheese, cut into strips

4 tablespoons of orange Marmalade

8 teaspoons of Lou’s Famous Organic Dill Mustard

4 Whole Grain Sub rolls, about 5 inches long

¼ cup of oil

 

Instructions:

1.       Cut rolls in half length wise and spread 1 tablespoon of marmalade on each top and 2 teaspoons of dill mustard on each bottom.

2.       Then portion out 4 oz. Ham for each.

3.       Top with 2 oz. of the brie cheese.

4.       Top the sandwich with the mustard spread top.

5.       Heat a heavy pan over medium heat with enough oil to coat the bottom.

6.       Once hot, place the sandwiches in the pan and put some weight on top. You can use a panini press, but if you don’t have one, another heavy pan will work.

7.       After 45 seconds to a minute, you want to flip the sandwiches once the bottoms are nicely browned. Press again for 45 seconds to a minute.

8.       Remove from pan and repeat with other sandwiches. You may have to recoat pan with more oil before starting next batch of sandwiches. Make sure to melt the cheese a little bit to hold the sandwich together.
