Slow Cooked CORNED BEEF Brisket / Round


Ingredients:
* Wellshire Corned Beef Brisket or Round
* Onions (as desired)
* Carrots (as desired)
* Potatoes (as desired)

Instructions:
1. Place carrots, onion and potatoes in the bottom of a large slow-cooker or crock pot. 

2. Place corned beef brisket or round over vegetables and add enough water to just cover the meat (about 1-2 inches above meat). 

3. Cover and cook on low for eight to nine hours or until fork goes through easily (high will work but you may need to add more liquid as it cooks). NOTE: A round will hold up longer and should be sliced more like Roast Beef, while brisket will fall apart more on its own. 

4. Remove the meat and vegetables from the pot and cover with foil to keep warm. Increase heat to high and cook cabbage until softened but still crispy, 20 to 30 minutes.

5. Slice brisket or round across the grain, serve with cooked vegetables.
