Wellshire Pizza Dough


Ingredients:
 

2 teaspoons of dry yeast

¾ cup warm water

2 ½ cups whole wheat flour

1 teaspoon of salt

1 ½ tablespoon Olive Oil


Instructions:
1.       Stir yeast into water, let stand for 5 minutes
2.       Brush large bowl with oil
3.       In a mixer  or food processer mix flour and salt briefly, then add oil and yeast    mixture
4.       Mix until a sticky ball forms
5.       Transfer to a floured surface and knead (folding edges into center) adding any additional flour until dough is no longer sticky
6.       Place dough into oiled bowl, flip dough so that it is covered lightly in oil
7.       Cover and let Proof (about an hour in a warm area) or until double in size (can be stored over night)
8.       Punch down dough, releasing air
9.       Ready to be rolled out
Finishing your Pizza
½ cup sauce

2 cups of cheddar cheese

4 oz sliced Colameco's Primo Naturale Chorizo

1.       Transfer dough to floured surface, dividing in half.

2.       Take half’s and roll it out, adding flour to the surface or roller if it sticks

3.       Transfer to a baking sheets with parchment paper on it

4.       Top with sauce leaving ½ inch around sides for crust

5.       Top with cheese, then spread with sliced chorizo

6.       Bake in a preheated oven at 475 degrees, about 15 minutes or until bottom of crust is golden
